997.2 GT3 RS.....sensible buy at the moment?

I've had a hankering for a 997.2 RS for a while. What's the consensus on current prices, do they make a sensible buy in terms of likely future residuals?

Just wish I'd bought one a few years ago when they were mid £80k's!

I guess if I was being sensible I should probably hold off in the short term to get a better idea of where prices are heading.

There are 4 cars at OPC right now but none that I'm hugely keen on. I'd ideally like a grey black with red decals...if I was being picky

I guess it's possible but I don't recall ever chasing a 550 - I've always been a little scared of the potential of huge bills on a Ferrari. Still, definitely a car to have bought at the time!!

My biggest ever regret was the £47K 996RS which didn't shift for months - again only a few years ago. The market has changed out of all recognition.

Grey Black with 1 owner but £195K. It's what I'd buy at the right price.

I think what I'd be prepared to pay right now would be outside the range of negotiation - simply because I have no idea where they'll be in 6 months time. It's too much money to be impetuous.

I love that colour combo.

If I didn't have the GTS and Spyder in the garage I'd probably be thinking of making offers

Being sensible, I do think there's quite a bit of room for values to fall away given how quickly they rose. I guess we'll see.
