GT3 2018 Allocations
Discussion
To avoid getting lost in the main thread, I thought it might be worth starting a thread for people who may be getting cars in the second allocation so that we can share information as it comes in. For what it's worth, I've paid deposit and got signed Order Form from Porsche owned OPC for 2018 car. My OPC expects to know their allocations in November.

Cannot be much of a change from the 991.1 the techs all the same which makes it easy to drive.
I am waiting for pec to get a Manual car before I book in my slot.
I know you love automation though so it will suit you.
You can't book an 'invite' PEC day unless you have an allocation.I am waiting for pec to get a Manual car before I book in my slot.

I'm still waiting to hear if my dealer will let me have one.
Bought a stunning 911 GTS (which I love dearly) as my DD and a Macan S for the missus earlier in the year. Still absolutely no sign of any yes or no's from my dealer. I sold my GT4 recently as was given positive signs, but now I'm regretting it.
To make matters worse someone emailed me earlier this week and offered me a car. I refuse to give a flipper my money. Makes me so angry that some people have still managed to do this.

Not sure I follow? Was just commenting as others have, that I haven’t had anything confirmed regarding allocation. And yes I do have a signed order and deposit paid.
Sorry - this wasn't aimed at you. It was a comment on a previous poster. PS I have a deposit and signed order form as well breadvan said:
Richard, most of the PH community get rather frustrated when posters like David say things along the lines of ‘Ive got something to say about this thread, but I’m not going to say it publicly’.
Rather missing the point of a forum, I feel.
Mr D, please grow up, you’ve been a pain recently (imho).
2010Spy, I hope you get your car, have you changed dealers?
Breadvan, I'm with my original OPC for the GT3 (where I got the Spyder and GTS from).Rather missing the point of a forum, I feel.

If you do not have a deposit on a new GT3 what’s the chance of getting a car?
In my view, you probably need to have paid a deposit AND got a signed Order Form if you have any chance of getting one. However, 911R says that his OPC have not taken deposits but he sounds confident he will get one.cormeist said:
Guys- you have to be in it to win it! I am playing the 'game', its no different to gambling, not that i gamble much/often, the way i look at it is, yep i sold my PTS .1GT3, which i had to buy at 'overs' i may add, BUT i had made my mind up that i am going to commit to my local OPC and buy used & new Porsche cars, even the vanilla cars are great so my thoughts were its a win win really, and if i were to be granted a Allocation for 'any' of the Halo GT products its a bonus. There are always going to be more GT products so if i dont win this time, there always the next..
FYI- my OPC only got 4 for Jan Build, but Porsche are/will drip feed them just like the .1GT3, I never expected to get a Jan build, so there is still hope!
Thanks. Agree. Which is your OPC? Is it Porsche owned?FYI- my OPC only got 4 for Jan Build, but Porsche are/will drip feed them just like the .1GT3, I never expected to get a Jan build, so there is still hope!

I just opened a chocolate bar and it had the Golden Ticket (well, it was actually a call from the OPC). Allocation confirmed for March 2018.
