Usual suspects like the AA and RAC are coming out at £220+ for the year, anyone got any other suggestions? Or ideally a policy that will cover 2 cars so we can include our Disco 4

Yeah, I used to get it through lockton with their policy as well, but switched to manning this year as they were £700 cheaper for a 993 and 997 GTS combined for very similar cover (unlimited TDs etc). Actually £900 really as lockton required a tracker sub for the GTS which is £200/year and manning don't.

Lockton had always been exemplary over the 6 years I was with them, and I don't mind paying a bit more, but the gap was just too large this year.

Okay so due to time constraints (not able to open that Nationwide account before we go!) I've plumped for RescueMyCar.com which will cover me and my other half in any car up to 25 years old (993 scrapes in, checked with them!) for the princely sum of £128 or so which seems very reasonable.

I've just remembered I've used them in the past and all, dopey me....big road trip round Europe for a few months where I did use them. Think I may be able to cancel the stuff I bought above, if so, will sign up with ADAC as they were very good as I recall.

Edit: how did you sign up? Won't take a UK address online. When I used them before I got my mum to ring up (she's German)
