I've noticed since I had my car (991.2GT3) that there is a little clink from the back suspension when I go over short indents in the road, it seems mainly about 40mph and little indents about a foot wide and maybe an inch or so deep, it's as if it's hitting the stoppers. I've also driven a PDK GT3 which did the same thing so I'm guessing this is just normal?

Wow, that's useful to know, all those things didn't help. If 50% of cars are doing this I'm thinking this isnt meant to happen. I could ignore it but I must admit it doesn't feel like a healthy noise to me so it's taking a bit of enjoyment out of driving it.

I think I will have to visit the dealer and get a mechanic to listen to it with me and see what they come up with.

So Mr Brick, did your friend just accept the noise then in the end?

... just confirming, it is something that happens both sides individually. At first I thought it was only the left but after a while I found it clinks on the right too, just not as often. I guess because roads are often bumpier on the outside, particularly the rougher B roads here in Norfolk.

Just to add to this, my car went back to the OPC (Cambridge) and they said yes they saw a problem, and replace my rear wheel steering system. Great I thought. Then when the car came back, the clank if anything was worse frown

So I think they spotted a different problem with the RWS that I didn't notice, and not the clanking. So it's going to go back again. It's been on two GT3's that I've driven which does seem very coincidental, but it doesn't sound right so I'd like to resolve what this noise is.
