Stacking it into the barriers would be the worst track driving ever. That is a long circuit to learn..

Not sure that's the friendliest thing to post? We are not all driving gods....

I'm not sure putting the lives of others at risk when you are obviously incompetent beyond the range of the environment that you have placed yourself is friendly either. In fact it is selfish and dam right stupid so I see no reason for others to not be made aware, someone thought that the video was worthy of posting as a warning and maybe in the hope that the idiot concerned might seek some training instead of continuing like a clueless unaware numpty.

Its nothing to do with who's a good driver, these people may well be sharing a track with you yikes

Ok I watched about half that video but can somebody actually explain to us novices what he's doing wrong ? The commentary seems overkill. Sure the one handed steering is a bit lax but otherwise (and I'm clearly no track driver) the overtakes don't seem to me to be hugely dangerous?

In the first video it was clear he was all over the place.

May have been his first laprolleyes

Yes it pays to keep your eyes open for all types of talent, when sharing the track with all types of talent/experience.

There are very clear rules on track days to prevent expensive car to car contact. The key ones being "Only overtake on the straights, ideally with the acknowledgement of the car in front, and DEFINITELY no overtaking in the braking zones or through corners.

As said there are clear rules when overtaking,it’s not so much that he is clearly breaking them but more of a case IMO that he is totally oblivious to them which is even worse!

It looks to me like he's done at least a handful of laps because he does turn in early to several blind crests, so he must have driven it a few times before.
With that in mind I'm actually fairly impressed with that driving in one respect - his cojones. He nearly has several offs, yet, and despite the place's notoriety, he's still determined to push on a lot harder than most would, without having sufficient experience to do so. Having large cojones plays a big part in going quickly round the Green Hell, with experience he'll get his lines right. He has a bright future ahead of him. biggrin

Absolutely does not belong in the Worst Track driving Ever thread.

In which case he must be either a slow learner, stupid or talentless, poor chap although brave. NO stupid!
