Hi All,

Any further news/gossip on whether the second batch will materialise and when this is likely to become known?

Had heard that OPC think it’s going to happen but no further confirmation on allocations from Porsche GB. Expect ‘small batch’ at best given delays in engineering/testing the filter etc. Had heard June for deliveries and also as late as Sept onwards. If June deliveries turns out to be true, then I would have thought that we would know one way or ‘tother by March ?

Still appears to a bit of a mystery.

You’re right about a guessing game. I heard that the reason RS pricing has dissappeared from the uk configurator isn’t a ‘techie issue’ with their website but a planned price increase in the second batch which could be considered as another piece of evidence that a second batch is imminent.

Who knows what the reality is, but I bet brexit maybe playing an influencing factor in Porsche AG’s decision making, plus any performance differential.

I'm pretty convinced now that there will indeed be a second batch arriving in the UK in the later part of the year.On whether or not i will get one of them i'm no so confident.
However i've just returned from taking a friend out for his first ever spin in a Ferrari. My new 458 Italia is a very very special car and i wouldn't swap it for an RS anyway..Its got a 570PS NA 9.2K revving 4.5L V8 and its glorious..!

I’ve heard from Porsche that the second batch of 991.2 GT3RS with WP is ‘definitely happening’. The only variable is when these cars will be delivered and whether you receive an allocation. I’ve heard one dealer suggest deliveries in sept-Nov this year. Just have to sit and wait this one out.

End of trackday season nearly then you have to wait till 2020 to get it out again!

Agreed. Even the OPC dealer said ‘who would want to take delivery at that time of year, but beggars can’t be choosers.
