Despite the track drying towards the end, there appears to be increasingly less grip.

For those in the know - is this down to tyre degradation, or is it that as visibility improves, commitment levels increase, and Bleekemolen simply "gets in the groove"?

Whatever the reason, the juggle between understeer, oversteer, and throttle inputs, towards the end of the race is mesmerising. Driving (slowly) round the 'ring on a dry summer's day is about as much excitement as I can take these days. Hats-off to those who race round it in the wet.

I can only imagine anyone who's done that in the dark and wet, is now irreversibly damaged and has a constant 1000 yard stare!
