Thank you! Did you take out the extended warranty?

My father in law bought his Boxster from Cridfords and was very happy

He had the 911 detailed there and was happy with it, I thought it was an "OK" job for the money
Thanks Alfapork! I need to call them and understand about the extended warranty

Thank you ... I’m sure warranties have been discussed and length on PH already. I’m trying to fast track my knowledge on whether the Porsche one is the copper bottomed thing to aim for, or whether the Indy sellers are able to provide a security that is sufficient.

I’ll investigate

What would you do after the three months, and the expiry of their warranty?

Going back to original question, 2 mates of mine have bought 4 cars from them over the last approx. 10 years from their old and new sites . No horror stories other than a poor respay in one spot after an almost total respay (after my mate damaged his car in a few places) that they sorted free of charge 18 months after the job. Can’t speak specifically about the warranty but minor issues were always sorted soon after purchase and then fixed at competitive prices longer into ownership. I think I’d be ok buying from them and the cars seemed well prepared, but as with any used car purchase, I’d recommend making sure you’re happy with history and condition yourself.
Thank you for sharing your experience - it
Seems pretty fair! My local specialist dealer (near Windsor/Slough) has many 997s and their warranty focuses on them fixing issues at their workshop.

I went to look at the car this Saturday and while Michael was very pleasant and I got to see Eric Clapton apparently drive by in his classic silver Ferrari (he lives close apparently).

The car wasn’t prepped for sale beyond a mechanical inspection. Small wing dent, a lot of swirls and all wheels starting to rot as they will eventually being diamond cut. Put me off and I didn’t progress anything. Learned some good pointers.

Overall am ok experience. However I did email three times from two different accounts and never got a reply- so don’t bother with that. Very relaxed environment..
