Weren’t there 80-100 for the U.K. in the first batch last Feb when I suppose we were all asked to spec very quickly? I don’t have “official” numbers for this one but it is supposed to be quite less: I had heard dealers allocation were no more than 2/3 of the first batch. But as accurate as me predicting the stock markets. From other related threads I think many of us excited by the Lizard Green in 2018 have gone for the black or silver. The latter was my first choice until... I went back to LG, WP and Mag wheels. Albeit for batch one I was adamant I preferred the standard GT3 wheels with the LG rim, given the chance of a batch 2, I had to go black Mag! My memory is failing me but you are LG too?
Yes I've gone LG with every option expect the Mag Rims, too many pot holes on the roads I drive. Black standard rims for me,I also prefer the deeper dish of the standard rimSandy59 said:

Why do people ask about number if not interested In Flipping ?
Any one who keeps asking this must have a reason !
I have a curious interest in how many cars there will be with WP,they are different to the first batch, distinguishable even by Steve Wonder!!!Any one who keeps asking this must have a reason !
WTF has the question got to do with flipping?

From what i've been told there will be circa 100 cars in the UK second batch RSs..I'm guessing that around 80% will be with the WP so around 80 WP RSs in total for the UK..WTF has the question got to do with flipping?
From the pics above of the black RS WP with gold Mags i'm regretting my choice of going with the standard Plat Mags on my RS..I wonder if its not too late to change them..?
Im black standard rims so don’t have that problem

Heard mine yesterday, sounds exactly the same on startup to my 2018 Lizard.. it was in transportation mode, so could not rev above 2k..
Did you notice any subtle changes on the car at all, or all just looking the same as before ??DT398 said:

Nothing other than the different exhaust config, shame the titanium box/tips are lost, but ITB more than makes up for it. My car is full WP and black mag wheels in Racing Yellow... these wheels look the nuts to me aside from weight benefits m. The carbon steering wheel is missing, on backorder for swapping over later
Sounds good, bit of a shame as you say on losing the titanium but at least the new exhaust system is lighter than before which seems to be a result.A1mjb said:

I like LG and the carbon combo
It just looks wrong on the wheels and the
Vents imo
You lost me there,do you mean the carbon looks wrong on the wheel arch vents, lost me on the wheels? It just looks wrong on the wheels and the
Vents imo
But then I went Gt silver
On another note looks like mine is delayed until October you heard anything on yours ?
I bet it is mag wheels again

Does that work? I thought you have to live/have a registered address in the other country and have owned the car for at least 6 months before bringing it back (at least that is the rough guideline I remember when I looked to buy a car in the US without paying the import duties)
I just phoned my OPC and they assure me that my September build RS will definitely enter the UK before the end of October..Its the date it enters the UK apparently not when it's delivered to the customer.isaldiri said:

Are you sure the exhaust is lighter than the previous titanium 991.2RS one? Every statement I have ever seen from Porsche reads as if it’s lighter than the previous filterless SS system that was on the 991.2 GT3. They have never explicitly said the SS exhaust with filters is lighter even than the titanium one on the pre-filter 991.2RS. If it were, they’d say so I would have thought?
I've heard the wording of one doc is actually 'Compared to the familiar titanium sports exhaust system, the resulting design is almost 20% lighter and comprises ................'I think current touring cars are 1200 and something KG’s and even with a 48kgs penalty the difference per lap in the hands of a pro race driver is about 0.000#* nano squats
I’m 6 foot 16 stone,I think Archie Hamilton is 4 foot ten inches and weighs 6 stone,I’d have to take the fking gearbox out to get down to his weight including driver Lol
Anyway I’m more concerned about getting it than weighing it
