Does anyone know this car?

https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/911-GT3-125332

On the face of it, it looks like a decent example. It's had three previous owners, is that out of the ordinary on a Touring? Presumably the first owner took all the profit, so it would be nice to know why the other two owners moved it on, given that it hasn't done many miles.

Bramleys had it for sale at £189k, then dropped it to £184k back in February. Not sure what they sold it at. Silverstone bought it directly from Nicholas Mee, who had it advertised on PH at £175k. Is there anything to worry about with this one?

No pccb
No alcantara
No wing

£45k more expensive than a car with those 3 things !

One would have to be bat st crazy to buy it. IMHO.....
Which seems like an odd response given your username. wink The Touring is the R but without those silly stripes.

Looks bloody lovely to me, except for the price, but there are only 45ish Tourings in the UK.
I agree, it a beautiful thing. I think there are 47 C16 models.

The winged GT3 prices have softened considerably over the last 6 months, whereas these have moved but not anything like as much.

I love the Touring for all the reasons 911R hates it. And in black, with the black exterior pack, it's about as understated as a GT3 could ever be. And if I ever get the urge for people to look at me, I've got a coffee table in the garage that I can strap to the back. smile

The manual only option was puzzling to say the least .

Agree about the 992,it will be like the 991.2 where few had bought clubsport so clubsport got a premium and then loads bought clubsport on the gen2.
Speculators will buy the touring in droves .
If that happens, in a world of Tourings, the 991.2 Touring becomes a much rarer car. And the 992 styling is not for everyone. The 991.2, for me, is a much better looking car. But then I am a little biased. wink

I know it’s slightly different, but only have to look at the prices of the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 to see what a low number of C16 cars does to a particular market.

Some people , all be it very few, buy a Touring at £50k overs to go slower, that's life and a free choice, does not change the facts of a car.
I think that's where we differ. I don't care about the speed per se. And like most GT3 owners, I'd never wring every ounce out of that engine.

This is going to sound pretentious, and it probably is, but some people admire Porsche from an industrial design perspective. And I take great joy from the fact that few design better machines than Porsche. And in my opinion, the wing ruins the form. And while form should follow function, if you can design a car with the elevated form of a Touring, I'm happy to compromise a little on the function.

Although Porsche would probably say there’s been no compromise with the Touring, given it’s intended function.
