Without wanting to be a downer on a car for sale, if it's the car I'm thinking about it has some lets just say interesting stories about the repair and personally I'd rather fork out a bit more to get another high mileage car from europe that is perfectly straight although given it has lasted a good few miles since the repair it can't have been all that bad I suppose.

Was there not something on PH about it a good while back? When they talked about the car having been repaired in the video, it did trigger a dim and distant memory with me and, not saying it is necessarily the same car, but I did seem to remember that car/repair:

Not the one in the linked thread I think. The scd car if it's the one I'm thinking about was repaired a long time ago (as mentioned in the video too).

Yes, it's pretty well established that police will prosecute vloggers if they overtly take the mickey with speeds.

I guess the compromise is to film a bit on a circuit, which is what some do.

As best you can, that video did show the brutality of the power train on the CGT. Wonderful beasts.

I was on that trackday in my 996 turbo. Max overtook me on the way up to the highest point at Hohe Acht. He was really shifting and I'd barely needed to lift to give him a clean pass. Sounded epic.

No, it sounds pretty fking awesome. I think it is just the fact that the frequency of the noise is difficult to capture - it's very bassy.
