Hi

So my spec so far is.......

Solid White with white painted side vents

Metal sunroof / rear wiper and black arch stone guards

Black with Sportex inside with crayon stitching and seat belts

Classic wheels with black centre's

Lane warning (55 forget to look behind, "sometimes")

About £6k in options (now you are saving me the above)

Trying to make it look like one of my 911's of the past !!

I think the centre eye for the cruise spoils the look and its another £2k)

thanks for your comments, I've also gone for the standard exhaust with square tips, as all the modern sports systems all sound poor compared to the
air-cooled of old

what about the 'sport package' that saves 30kg? when you consider it's 3x the weight saving of a 'T' then it's pretty good imo!
It was the first thing I ticked but the more I looked at it, the more I preferred the clean lines of rear spoiler (almost lower ducktail shape) without it

along with the front spoiler tips and a few bits painted in gloss black, it didn't justify £4k

My build will be March I'm told thanks to you guys there's no longer any concerns over not spec'ing sport suspension and lift clap

there's a little wobble over the adaptive cruise (£1,200) it's something i've used in a Bentley, but I just dislike the centre eye in the front.... confused

The Ferrari Roma uses an even uglier one perched like a fog lamp on the one side yikes

If it’s something you’ll use spec it. In these days of average speed zones etc on motorway roadworks I use it all the time. Clearly you really care how your car looks but shouldn’t let that get in the way of something being useful...and I would say on a car like this something that might stop you getting three points on your license.
Yep! you have a point here

I see, the Taycan is amazing, we're in Wales and they don't offer many charging points here bounce

Great news. May I ask when you put the deposit down and when you got the nod that your car was going for build in May?

I put my deposit down 6 months ago and called in to my dealer a few days before Christmas and they said they still didn’t know their allocation for the coming quarter, Blaming Brexit, Covid might have an effect on build etc.

Surely this is nonsense and are fobbing me off?
My deposit was placed July 2020 but with an amazing dealership, lets hope your deposit isn't with Lovetts because they simply don't care banghead

No definitely not Lovetts. Hopefully with my previous purchases (which have all been stock cars) and a trade in involved will help. Finding it hard to be patient! smile
Yep! with the world as it is - May/ June / July might be the perfect time for a new car !

I loved the old sunroof in my first turbo, so went with it again on a metal roof

didn't tick the sports exhaust because I own a Lamborghini for that hehe
