I'm just about to purchase a car from an OPC that has a rev range 3 recorded. They've undertaken a compression test and are happy to warranty it but is this something I need to worry about? I intend to keep the car for a long time.

What’s the car? And how many rev range 3 has it recorded?

A few ignitions is nothing to worry about - they can glitch. If it’s a lot then it may have had a hard life.
"And how many rev range 3 has it recorded? "

I'll ask, thanks

I just want to say thank you to everyone that gave feedback, both on here and off the board. I did a bit more digging and it had one ignition in rev range 3 which I'm happy to accept. It's got a tad over three years Porsche warranty on it so once lockdown is lifted I intend to get out and enjoy the car, both here and in Europe.
