PTS Colour Choice
Discussion
Hi there I need to choose a colour for an upcoming build slot for a GT3 and I’ve narrowed it down to the following :
Amethyst Metallic
Dark Olive Metallic
Oak Green Metallic
Forest Green Metallic
I’m really struggling as the images of each individual colour can look so different in different OL images / Videos.
I’ve had paint downs made but again, it’s very difficult to imagine a whole car from this.
Basically, going round in circles
I was wondering that if anyone in the East Midlands has a 911 in any of these colours, if they’d be willing to let me very briefly see their car - if so please can you DM me - thanks

Having spent some time with an Oak green spyder this week I can confirm that it looks f’ing stunning in all lights.
Hi chap, thanks. I really like my Oak Green swatch when it looks “grey with a slight green tone” but in certain lights it can look “overly” green - is it properly green in the metal ? Thanks julian987R said:

Congrats on securing a PTS GT3 allocation.
Oak green one of my favourite Porsche colours and what I'd choose on a 992GT3 Touring.
I've assumed you're getting a winged GT3 and in which case I'd plump for Amethyst Metallic. Its truly stunning in all lights.
There is a guy on Rennlist who posted pics of his GT3 in Amethyst. Trouble is I'm too lazy to find this thread but when I do I'll post a link.
Cheers Taffy - yep it’s winged - tbh I prefer them winged to touring Oak green one of my favourite Porsche colours and what I'd choose on a 992GT3 Touring.

OTOH this Dark Olive is rather stunning especially with Cognac interior
It is nice but I think that’s just “Olive”, I’d be going Dark Olive Metallic which is a different Olive OTOH this Dark Olive is rather stunning especially with Cognac interior

RSVP has your PTS slot been delayed at all?
My 2022 PTS GT3 build slot was bumped to next year.
I’m not sure tbh - I swapped a normal slot that I think I would have had by now for a PTS slot which they said could delay it up to 4-6 months, to which I said fine. They did say it had moved to 2023 now that you mention it, but also said that means it will still be in delivered in early Q3 this year - I don’t really get why a 2023 car is delivered in 2022 but I think that’s a “thing”My 2022 PTS GT3 build slot was bumped to next year.
I’m glad I haven’t had to lock it in yet as I’m still non the wiser
