2007 Boxster

Morning all, a bit of help if you would. A friend of mine is looking for a Boxster 987 and has around £14k to spend. He is considering a 2.7 or the 3.2s in manual box form. Do both of these engines carry the bore scoring & intermediate shaft issues as per the 911? Are there any other issues to be aware of?
