Hi all,

I've got some 'Cayman S' decals for the doors of my 981. I was wondering if anybody has these from the factory and has the measurement of the placement please?

Below is an example of the decals:

Many thanks,
J.

I had them fitted to my white Cayman to add some contrast - as I recall if you just line up the left and bottom of the backing paper about 1cm from the door edges it looks fine. I also removed the chrome badges on the rear hatch and added a decal on the rear PU.

Unfortunately, I did not buy original Porsche decals as they were ludicrously expensive (£180), and bought through eBay (£15), so the backing paper is basically to the edge of the decal. I'm just going to play around and eye ball it and make my own measurements - doubt I can go that far wrong!

Thanks everybody else who has contributed to this thread, I'll post back some pictures once the decals are on!

Hi all, thanks for the feedback, here is the result - I actually found the decals easier to apply without lube as the lube took too long to dry underneath and the decals were coming off with the backing paper.
