12 GT4's for sale on PistonHeads and growing
Discussion
Currently 12 GT4's for sale on Piston Heads with 4 being added today!
To date only one looks to have sold via JZM, the other seem to be hanging around. Is this a sign that people aren't willing to pay the over inflated prices on these cars or people are just biding their time to see where the market goes when all of the cars have been delivered?
Also this has to be an eye opener to Porsche that a good number of the early cars that have been delivered to their favored customers are straight to re-sale? I'm surprised the 20-30k increase in price on these cars is enough to make people sell these cars especially given how rare they are and how good they seem to be!

Seen similar posts by people that wanted a car but didn't get one . Called sour grapes . No other reason to start such s thread To date only one looks to have sold via JZM, the other seem to be hanging around. This one is optimistically priced

Some of them have been specced oddly. Almost as if people kept the cost down knowing they were going to flip them, maybe they won't be so easy to sell and the dealers will mostly likely only take those on sale or return.
Has my post been illuminating, not really! I am one of the people who want one directly without paying the premium!
I think someone needs to have a word with DK Engineering...Their advert reads "Only 50 GT4s are destined for the UK and these have all been sold." I'm not sure which GT4 they're referring to but that's simply not true! http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

New one on Piston Heads today at a princely sum of £110k, to be fair looks like all the options were ticked on this beauty!

Why would you spec it so fully (CS aside), and then sell it immediately?
If you're after maximising your return then PCCB definitely isn't the way to go.
Wife found out how much you spent on it and that you're being selfish for keeping it especially when you can put some money in the bank to boot, "think of the family rather than yourself for once"......If you're after maximising your return then PCCB definitely isn't the way to go.
Just guessing and by no means is that an excerpt from my life at the minute.......

Price makes sense if anyone is willing to take on the possible burden of a private purchase. The end result would be a similar margin for the seller anyway, given most dealers want £5-10k of sale price.
What "burden" do you get for buying a brand new car with existing full warranty and 150 miles on the clock privately?ChrisW. said:

I've been told the RS is going to be offered to 918 owners and my OPC beleive they will get 1 maybe 2!
IS it really going to happen ??At what point will P switch to the new Gen2 chassis designed with the Turbo 4 ?
Or, might the GT4 RS have the 919 motor ??
Harris has also spotted that a large number of GT4's have gone straight for re-sale!
His view on the matter:

Also said he would investigate any wrong doing with OPC's if proof was provided!

Aberdeen OPC was mentioned!
Is he miffed he didn't get a GT3RS, fallen out of love with Porsche or just genuinely annoyed at the market and with those who are being given cars not using them as intended? Does it open up a can of worms on the current Porsche marketplace and the control OPC's seem to have on the sales of these cars? Probably a storm in a tea cup but I thought it interesting that he would speak up on a subject as contentious as this where it brings him into potential conflict with Porsche group!

Porsche Silverstone have one on at £109,850
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...
Seems that this one has every option inc CS on it!
How are dealers selling GT4's with delivery milage doesn't it state in the t's&c's in the order document that you are unable to sell your car on within the 1st 6 months? I wouldn't have thought they could/would buy newly delivered cars off customers to on sell given the amount of coverage the GT4 or more to the point lack of them has gained?

New black one on with 911 Sport has PCCB's, Sport Chrono, Yellow Stitching but standard seats? That's got to have been a mistake?

Seems a strange omission given the other options. Wonder if that will effect how quickly it sells!
