This happened today. It's about the eight occasion in two years. Stones stick to the tyre on my drive & flick into the gap between the disc & the caliper. The only way to remove them is to take the wheel off & tease them out. Blooming end of days noise when one gets in.

I can't think of any way to protect the brakes, is there one? Really a pain in the backside.

Can't do either of those, spent all my money on Porsches. Never known a car like it for this though.

Had it backwards & forwards, sometimes more pronounced on cornering. The stones grind against the disc & it is a godawful screeching.
