Inspired by the 997 appreciation thread, would love to have a thread about the GT4, and not about values. A different kind of "appreciation".

Have a lovely GT Silver with buckets. Car arrived same time as my first son so I'm limited to early morning drives and doing solo trips to family across the country. It gets driven regularly and it doesn't seem to have any issues other than speed bumps in London.

I love Porsche engines, very mechanical, in fact this car is very mechanical and makes it impossible to go back to non GT cars. I wish gearing was better in order to access higher revs more often, but that's what the track is for.

My recent discovery is how much fun cold tyres are, and I can't wait for winter and wet roads. You don't need silly speeds to engage with this car, although I wish it was a little harder to drive well. It makes perfect sense to me when you understand it in context of a GT3 - it is an easier, more accessible GT3, rather than a better Cayman.

Couple of pics - will upload the car itself later, but nothing beats driving home at 4am and catching a sunrise. I also think the window shape of the Cayman is beautiful and like the 911, will define the future iterations.

I don't think I could bear to see someone else driving mine... I let my godfather drive it once, who decided to drive down single lane roads and it was the worst 20 mins of my life (even though he's experience driver).
