Power outlet switch off

After the saga of finding out I had a light weight Lithium battery in my GT4 the hard way, my OPC sold me the correct trickle charger for it.

Now it seems my power outlets switch off after half an hour, before that everything is working fine and the correct lights are on etc.

Is there a fix for this or am I going to have to do a direct connect? The GTS didn't have this problem and would trickle fine through them.

Tried them all! Actually sat by the car (with plug in the footwell) at 28 mins in and heard a click at 30 mins then the Trickle charger switched off.

Found a thread on Rennlist for the same problem and yes it seems 2016 were affected (as well as the spot weld on 3rd!) I am going to try Hang On's procedure today though.

After trying various sequences today it seems that the last thing you should do is lock the car. Been good for two hours now and I'll leave over night and pray it starts in the morning and not wake the neighbours up with the alarm. (though the exhaust does a pretty good job)
