I’ve noticed some potential underhand tactics by Porsche, while using their 718 configuration!

This is regarding the instrument dials / coloured dials.

From what I understand, the red, yellow and white dials look less classic Porsche, as they have too many warning and info lights. These show up with a black background I think.
Some people have stated this as a reason to stay with black dials.

So now I notice there has possibly been editing of these, to clean the look of the dials up and make some of the very expensive options / GTS packages more attractive.

Or alternatively, is this more like what we can expect on a 718 and Porsche have not created new images?
Am I wrong, or is this some sort of German subterfuge?

Red and yellow have a partially visible array of lights, but the white one has them pretty much blurred out.
What do you think?
Any 718 owners out there happy to share their dash with us?

A quick Google image search throws these up. I found them all pretty much unacceptable, so I chose the silver/grey GTS pack for my 981 interior.
I think those are 981 images?

We’ve just done the same GTS Crayon pack with a new 718 GTS, but in the Configurator, it too looks edited.

How does the rev counter look in your GTS pack 981 please?

That looks different to the config for a Crayon GTS pack now.
You’re quite right though, that a Crayon GTS pack shouldn’t have a pure white rev counter.
Your 981 grey has white text, but the config image for 718 GTS Crayon, shows black text, which seems wrong. Have they just used an edited white image one.

I guess only a 718 GTS owner with Crayon GTS pack can clear this up.
