Anyone using a dashcam in their 718 .

I’d be interested to hear about your dashcam experiences re:

- choosing a model
- positioning it (there are rules where it can be placed relative to wiper arcs)
- powering
- installing. - costs for a pro install? I know Halfords ‘fit’, but may prefer a Porsche specialist

I’ve been looking at Blackvue models , which have a small footprint (but are stuck on with semi-permanent double sided tape). They have a Magic Pro power management module that gives some power drain protection for Parking Mode operation. Might be useful, or alternatively use the 12v electrical socket in the footwell which powers down after 30 secs.
