Extended Warranty worth it?
Discussion
I bought an approved used Boxster S just under 2 years ago, it came with 2 years Porsche Warranty.
Now that the 2 years is nearly up, I've been offered the chance to extend this by a further year or 2.
It's about £1200 for the 2 years - is it worth it?
I have had a few claims in the last two years and have had an absolutely outstanding service from Porsche - but there is so much small print in these warranties that I'm left a bit unsure whether to go 3rd party or stay with Porsche...
Basically, I'm just looking for some advice on what you guys do, and why?

Thanks all for your views.
I was looking to take the warranty before asking but figured I'd double check...
Given that I've had plenty of things done under warranty over the last 2 years (several thousands of pounds worth) and that, despite my car being 8 years old, I've been given such an outstanding service from Porsche, it really is a no-brainer for just 600 quid a year.
And as an added bonus it's transferable so would definitely help me sell privately if needed.
I'll renew it in the morning with them!

I’m. in the same boat, due for 111-point check/warranty extension in August (all booked)......OPC assured me grilles would not be an issue, BUT I fear voiding the warranty on this very issue, should they wish to.....the written contract is really quite clear on the matter.
What pisses me right off is they recognise the issue, hence the grilles on the GT cars!!!
Do you know how it 'works' with the 111 point check. What pisses me right off is they recognise the issue, hence the grilles on the GT cars!!!
Hypothetically would Porsche say that I need to replace my tyres (that are at about 2.5mm) or they won't extend the warranty, thus wasting the cost on the 111 point check that I booked in for next week?
Or do they only look at warranty parts?
My car is completely standard.
