Fixed Price Servicing

My 981 Boxster S is due a service in the next few months. Ive been shopping around a few of my local opc's and they all seem to be signed up to the fixed price servicing.

I seem to recall hearing from somewhere that not all opc's had signed up to this and therefore you may be able to negotiate the costs of servicing more with them.

Any truth in this? An if so, are there any in the South East?

See it from both sides of the argument. £250 a year is not a lot of money to keep your car serviced and up to date. But, when you break it down, that they are asking £500 for an oil and filter change with a quick check over, then yes I would agree its a rip off.
