My 718 Cayman GTS has arrived at the dealer, and I’m picking it up in about 10 days. As it’s going straight to a detailer, I’ve asked them not to clean it, but just keep it under cover. The dealer said they’d leave all the wrapping on, and pop a cover over it.
As I was in the area today I just popped down for a peek. The car was there and filthy (which I expected), but also not covered, no wrapping etc. Most worryingly, the wheel crests were off and there was quite a lot of rust inside. Maybe I just shouldn’t have looked, but is this normal?
Just want to canvas opinions about whether I’m just being fussy about nothing, or can rightfully feel a little annoyed...

It’s not that it bothers me that much, I just wanted to find out whether it’s a problem. I realise all these cars are just lumps of metal being shipped around and will always look filthy until they are prepped for handover, but I wanted to see if this is normal practice (I just thought it was strange my car being the only one without a cover when the dealer had specifically said he’d put one on)!
