Recommended Insurers
Discussion
Hi Everyone.
Will shortly be collecting my 981 Cayman S (manual) and am looking for insurer recommendations please. Car has circa £15k worth of factory-fit options.
I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest option as 'peace of mind' re. cover, including the options and dealing with a good, knowledgeable company, should the worst happen, is more important. But at the same time I don't want to be paying over the odds when I don't need to. Track day cover isn't really a necessity as I have a Caterham for that.
So far I've had quotations of between £550.00 & £600.00 based on a limited annual mileage (5k-10k) and a compulsory excess of £500.00. That doesn't seem particularly unreasonable and I've spoken to the insurers in question rather than put my faith in online-quotes only. However any recommendations would still be welcome.
Many thanks in advance.
