I've done some research and this could be expensive to fix, and is apparently a not uncommon fault with Sports Chrono cars. The car seems normal to drive.

Barrage of questions, sorry: Is it worth fixing, given that I only rarely drive in sports chassis mode? Should I replace both mounts with passive ones? Also any recommended Porsche specialist around south Lincs/Rutland/Peterborough way? It's a 14 plate, 32,000 miles.

Thanks for opinions.

My view is that you won't be able to sell the car without fixing it or reflecting the cost in asking price but that would put people off ie if you've not bothered fixing that what else have you not done ?

Fix it and at least get some benefit from it imho
I'm not planning on selling the car anytime soon.

There's no benefit to the active engine mounts - I never use them.

I had this issue a couple of years ago on my Boxster S 14 plate. It was fixed under warranty. The part was under £30, the labour would have been about £1000.
From what I've read, the part costs $1000 (US). We must be talking about different things.
