Coxster Snobbery
Discussion
Hello
I just wanted to get some opinions from Boxster/Cayman owners.
I have owned my Boxster for 6 months and what I am finding is quite a lot of snobbery towards Boxster/Cayman owners and I just wanted to know if I was the only person to find this. The worst I have had so far was an Indi garage who did a really bad service and could not give a **** about my custom. At the time I did put it down to having a Boxster as the Indi seemed more bothered about the GT3s they were working on (To be fair my friend took his 997 C4s to the same garage and they did not give two hoots about him either). But after looking at a Facebook page I saw the post below and was thinking what the **** as some people are just nasty.

I have a 911, but think the Boxster is a fantastic car and the ability to put the roof down is a bonus. I have couple of small people who've been in the back of the 911circa a dozen times.
Where are you in the South East, we should be able to recommend a good indie.
I certainly wouldn't take any notice about other people especially those in Pimped-up Chrysler..... probably a case of small man syndrome and glass houses shouldn't throw stones comes to mind.
Enjoy it.
Thanking you for the recommendations. I am in the Gatwick area. There are a few Indies in the area which one of them is one of the crowd I was talking about. I think I am going to try Precision Porsche in Bluebell Railway next.Where are you in the South East, we should be able to recommend a good indie.

Hello Ken
Firstly I did not start this thread about your garage, I started it as I was curious what others experiences of Boxster/Cayman ownership were in regards to how they are treated. As sunil4 asked me what my experiences of using you were I shared it without going in to too much detail. However, you wrote that I said to Adam that I said I would get a friend to pick me up which I never said this so I am confused to why this was said. I was going to delete my comments shortly as I don't want to come across as someone using forums to rant but after a few facts which are not correct I don't see why I should.
