my 2020 todo list . . .
Discussion
here is some of my "2010 Spyder with 120,000 miles" 2020 todo list . . . .
1 = complete new OEM suspension
2 = engine and gearbox mounts
3 = seat refurb OR new seats
4 = major service + PDK oil + clutch plate reset + coil packs
5 = ultra deep valet
6 = steering wheel refurbishment
I am after some advice for #3 . . . the seats
I have a few options - the seats are in really good condition, but could do with some love, or I just leave them as is. I have looked into recovering, used seats on eBay but am drawn (at the moment) to a new pair of seats - I really like the Recaro Pole Position in Black Leather - ideally with heating
Anyone have any experience of Recaro's in a Porsche?

OP, you can have these lovely Cobra Nogaros with seat heating and lumbar if your heart so desires :-
You can also spec full leather, or part Dynamica (essentially different trade name for Alcantara) and in different colours / combined colour combos.
Most importantly, you can have contrast stitching (known to some on here as 'deviated' stitching).
They are also up for you sending them your own OE seat heating pads if you have seat heating already so it is plug and play and you retain your button control - I've done that. If you don't have OE seat heating, and ask for heating then you get a kit with new buttons. I can dig out the exact pad details that they use if anyone is interested, but they are two stage heat jobbies.
I got a note today stating that my seats should be ready in the next 3-4 days (full black leather, red stitching). Looking forward to them immensely
