New Spyper or new Cayman GTS 4.0

Letter of intent went into dealership 2 years ago for the Spyder. They are now on their 3rd allocation of cars in March. Chances of getting one of these? Anyone know when production will stop?
Have a 5 year old 3.4 flat 6 Cayman GTS with high spec, so do I wait it out for the Spyder or configure a new GTS 4.0?
