Just ticked over 13k miles and my Pirelli’s from the factory are down to roughly 4mm so looking to change shortly. These are on 20 inch Carrera Sport alloys.

Have found the Pirelli’s OK and seem to have lasted fairly well - what mileage have people got out of theirs? One point is that the factory 265/35/20 rear and 235/35/20 just don’t seem big enough for the rims and they almost protrude. Fortunately have managed to avoid any kerbing.

What are people’s experiences with the N Spec Michelin PS4’s and Goodyear Eagle F2?

Thanks for the reply guys - probably going to go for PS4S as although the Goodyear’s are cheaper, I can’t seem to find any reviews.

Due to change mine on 981 GTS, currently original P-zeros (13k miles). Still legal but nearly 6 years old and lots of cracking/crazing on fronts.
Warranty wise, only have choice of P-zeros or Eagles.
Priced up today, cheapest www.camskill.co.uk
Having read comments, going to go for the Michelin’s.
Thanks for helping me decide, and cheaper
Whilst I hate to say it, Kwikfit were by far the cheapest I could find - 265/35/20 and 235/35/20. NHS10 gives 10% off and also 6.4% back via Quidco. They don’t appear to be asking for proof but of course, it would be morally wrong to claim discount smile

Unfortunately the offer has just finished, but 2 or 3 times a year Costco do £100 off 4 Michelin tyres. I've never been able to find anywhere to beat their prices when they do. Last set I had from them were cheaper fitted than I could even buy them loose from the likes of Camskill.

There was a post last year on the Cayman OC forum that summed up the tyre situation well. Someone asked if there was anything better for their car than the P Zero and the first response was "bare rims". Nail on head for me. I've experience P Zeros in 911, Boxster, Cayman and 911 and on all they have been total crap. The Michelin PS4S is a different league, especially in the wet. I used to run Eagle F1s on my Impreza and they were good. I've not done enough miles on them on a Porsche to say definitively but if I were you I'd go PS4S. Indeeed Mr C. Harris on his Instagram question and answer session the other week basically said they were the tyre to have.
Deal is valid to 30/06, have just tried offer code and it’s work. With cash back it works out to roughly £700 for a set of 4 PS4S
