hello,

Come on you 924/944/968 boys (and girls) I know you are out there

Big crack in windscreen and getting replaced.

I read that its best to take the pillar covers off in case they get cut and I have done that.

Any comments on whether I should get a new seal to be fitted at the same time? The one on their seems ok but it is 30 years old.

I have the built in antenna and tinted top, Autoglass had to get my chassis number as Porsche said that they had trouble identifying my screen, should I expect trouble? Sounds a bit suspect to me.

cheers
Bruce

Autoglass replaced the screen with a new seal.

What screen do you think should be there?

They took the VIN and went to Porsche who told them what screen came out of the factory, they only fit what it comes out with originally. Apparently?
