Why do the sills rust out on these when the cars were galvanised from new (weren't they?). Do the cabrios rot out worse? Obviously if the sills rust on a cabrio it's worse structurally, were the sills reinforced? Don't own one but on my bucket list. Thanks
Galvanisation is a sacrificial process. It isnt a magic spell. It lasts until it is used up and then they rust. The issue is your failure to understand what galvanising is and/or expecting magic.
