Or is the new EV sheduled for 24/25 the start of a whole new chapter?

I know very little about Porsche...

If anything the EV Macan will increase values of petrol Macan.
I suspect they'll get taxed off the road in the fullness of time, along with everything else.
But I don't disagree with the sentiment, especially for GTS and Turbo models.

No better or no worse time than any other medium sized SUV, just be prepared for it to depreciate like they all did in the pre Covid days and PCP interest rates to be minimum 7% even if you shop around.
Aren't we at that point already?
Stock seems well up on this time last year.

is this new Macan just an EV - as in only the same in name?

Think it'll be 100% all new ie not the electrification of a version of the current one
Suprised they're not calling it something different tbh - eg: Taycan / Panamera.
If it's to all intents and purposes an entirely new car.

EV isnt far off now, judging by the fact camo free ones are doing the rounds.

Im not sold on the styling. Front looks ok, but the side profile and especially the rear leave alot to be desired imo.

I think that looks stunning.
My concern was Porsche dropping ICE into it.

That said, it’s one of those brands where previous generations always look great if looked after, so buying the current model doesn’t phase me if the spec is spot on.

That seems to be a coupe style, I assume there’s also a “proper” SUV with a squared off back end, so you can actually load some stuff in it? If not, I’m defo out as it’s not practical for my needs (plus it looks c rap to my eye anyway).
I bet you're already on the configurator with that GTS aren't you biggrin

smile I’ve done that loads of times. Thing that stops me is the Petrol fuel consumption - pretty brutal on the test drives I’ve had
Whats the S like by comparison?
