Wow, thanks greenhell, amazing that you found it ! That circuit of Ireland photo is superb, but such a shame it's crossed the pond.
I well remember chatting to one of the guys at the garage, ( they owned it ) who told me the restoration was going very slowly due to lack of funds and that it wouldn't be finished for a long time.
The build sheet that I photographed had the first owners name on it, but I don't recall whether he originally bought it as his road car and then someone else ( next owner ? ) turned it into a Rally car.
Almost twice the price of a V-12 E Type in Feb 73, a hell of a lot of money.

New the list price was circa £6,250 and the list price on a 3.0CSL was then circa £6,995, rising to £7,399 by June 73, but many CSLs were heavily discounted to shift them.
Anyone know how many UK rhd 2.7 RS came to Britain and how many have survived ?
The 2.7RS is a fabulous " Drivers " car and I would give my back teeth for one, but the money now being asked for one is frankly ridiculous.
Just 500 CSLs came to Britain, with possibly around 200 survivors, many of which are now in OZ, New Zealand, USA and Malaysia.
A mint British market CSLs value is now a fraction of the RS, yet the CSL was a very special car but so underated / misunderstood compared to the RS.
