turns out they are fast road cams to go in my 930, 'those were a set of semi-custom cams.
They are a performance profile for 964/993 engines with mechanical rocker arms, giving a broad power band on sport-built engines. Programmable injection is also recommended.
We have used them in hot rod EFI 911 Turbo engines, too, and that pair has more conventional lobe centers for someone who wants a decent idle and good vacuum, and a wide torque curve rather than peaky numbers.
