928 S + S2 on Teledial wheels?

Does anyone know if you can fit the 16-inch 944 Turbo teledial wheels to a 928 S or S2?

This Porsche press photo shows an S with the teledial wheels from the factory but I'm not sure if they're the standard 15-inch 928 teledials or the 16-inch versions from a 944 Turbo.

Was it possible to specify an S with the 15-inch teledial wheels from the factory?

I found this on the PCGB website: "1978 MY:... 16-inch 'telephone dial' cast alloys on 5-speed manual versions with 15-inch alloys on 3-speed automatic gearbox option."

Part number for the 7x16-inch 928 Teledial: 928.361.016.00

Assuming the above is correct, would there be any reason you couldn't run the 16-inch 928 Teledial wheels on an automatic instead of a manual?

Thanks for all the useful information. I will try and track down a set of the 16-inch 928 Teledial's.

I am also looking for a mint Automatic 928 S or S2 with no sunroof, original book pack and no more than around 60,000 miles. If anyone has such a car please drop me a line.
