Thanks all. smile

Made all the better by finding paperwork for a full inspection at Porsche that had £35 worth of work to do on it!

It must have been mapped.
it has, by wayne schofield/chipwizzards. Makes a very rude 305bhp now. so its in amazing health. Revs really freely.

I've now done circa 1000 miles in it. feels a bit better all round now its been used a bit. its now high milage at 56k smile

Decided to swap the wheels over to the factory hollow spokes. Can't decide which I prefer more.

also washed it. I hate washing cars.

I’m guessing just the OS bank ?
Just silencers. Mapped by Wayne at chip wizards. Makes a healthy 304bhp and revs beautifully now.

Do you have plans for it OP? Feels like a perfect euro road trip car...
its been used for 'making progress' across Dartmoor and Exmoor recently. It feels better after each proper drive.

I've done a couple of 500 round trips in the UK, no plans for Europe at the min as life is getting in the way.

OT, nice one, How does such 993 4 drives/feel, I mean sporty and steering stuff, compared to say a carrera 4 964 ,
which I found a bit 'dull' compared to the carrera 2 which I then bought at the time.

also, does a 993 4S (wider version) drives the same-ish as a 993 4 ?
Sorry, missed this.

The 993 c4 feels rear drive, it’s 4wd system is much lighter than a 964’s. The only time I’ve felt the front driving is pulling out of a gravel road onto tarmac in an enthusiastic fashion. It feels rear drive and to me, feels the same as the c2 versions I looked at.
