Am I mad or is this an insane price for this car?

https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1977-porsche-9...

It doesn't take a lot of looking through the ad and at the pictures to know this car has a fair few bodywork issues, and based on the description it's not a car i'd be hugely confident about the maintenance record of.

What is this price about? Just the current fashion for green over tan?

I bet the seller cannot believe his luck, I pegged this car at high 30s ... potentially low 40s... this price (+ the 6% buyers premium of course) just seems nuts to me ... it'll cost a heck of a lot to sort all that 'surface rust'.

Why the decals on the front wings? I’m pretty sure early SCs didn’t have turn indicators on the wings.
So are the decals to cover the fact that it’s a later wing fitted to cover the hole for the indicator idea
Quite possibly... just can't believe that price for what is effectively a very high mileage and rather ropy SC ... It's the whole #makegreengreatagain thing gone completely mad, you could have got a nicer car and had it painted beautifully in any shade of green you like for that money. People are idiots!
