So ive made my decision and decided to go for the 6200 mile car.

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...

It will be ready in about 10-12 days. cant wait!

I have managed to get a bit of deal on it too.

I Couldn't care less how much money it loses i'm going to drive it and enjoy it. I'm not going to get a better example with that miles on it and i absolutely love the interior!

Pictures to follow!

also i love autos, it enables me to eat a cheeseburger drink a coke and be on the phone all at the same time and not worry about changing gear biggrin

Ok So i didnt buy the car from autofficina because its actually a bit of a pig....... and im also glas i didnt buy the one for £43,000 from safwat cars even though it was a well presented car with decent history.

The car has lots of bubbling on the paint in around 5 places which tells me its been filthy dirty for long periods of time, caked in mud or simply been out side for most of its life. The car is £41,000 for a reason, because it hasnt been looked after and im assuming the service history is scatty.

I have learnt so much in the last 3 months of looking for a car, and the RED 360 coupes are cheap for a reason, because they havent been maintained properly and probably had the pills revved out of them for most of there lives.

I Eventually spent the whole 60k at meridian in Southampton, it was a complete minter. absolutely perfect condition in side and out and barely covered 6000 miles. The second i drove it i knew exactly why i paid the extra money. It is the best looking 360 of its age i have EVER seen i found 1 tiny stone chip on it. It has a full documented history of its life and every thing was virtually new including tyres, brakes, discs etc etc.

Anyone thinking of buying a cheap one, its Cheap for a reason and could be an absolute money pit. im so glad i spent for the fUll 60k because i guarantee i will save a fortune in the long run.

So Guys if you cant afford a good condition one then get something more in your price range and it will ruin your ferrari ownership experience

Kyodo

I wasnt trying to be negative and being disrespectful for anyone elses purchases, and of course im sure there are excellent 360 red coupes for less than £50,000

I Did actually get the finance in place for a cheaper model albeit with a much bigger deposit which i didnt want to spend as i am currently opening another company and my money will work better for me there. there is no way i would of bought a car knowing that a 2k bill could come in at any point if i couldnt afford it.

Im not trying to fall out with anyone on here as i have recieved some absolutely amazing advice over the last few months and i am very greatful for that, so thank you all.

However when i went to view the the one i purchased it was absolutely amazing compared to the other ones that i had looked at and it was blatently obvious is was 60k for a reason. im prettty confident i have bought one of the best examples that could be available for its age. also i fell in love with the interior even if it isnt everyone elses taste. i bought it for me with no consideration for the next buyer as i want to buy it and love it. why should i worry about the next person if i dont have too.

All i am saying is that if you have a 40-45 budget and you want a Red one then save for another few months and see if you can get a better example.

There isnt many about for some strange reason and the dealer seems to think more and more are being shipped off abroad.

I cant stress enough about getting a well maintained example, you will enjoy your ownership so much more.

I have totally fallen in love with my car drives like a dream and of course the girls love it smile

to be fair the others have sold, mate, but stay away from the 41k one unless you can get it for 37 ish and spend the money putting it right..... i reckon it needs a full respray if im honest and a good service. personally i would stay away from it. i would check ferrari website daily and piston heads daily. ebay has some sometimes as well but they dont hang around for long..... there was a really good example that i will try and find now for you.

i would leave verdi alone. you might get youre car that you are looking for but he is generally selling for another person and has been known in the past not to past the funds on.

only from what i have heard via the internet. also there are a few liquidated companies in his name and a few similar names
