F430 red slow down warning light

As title, I have had this light come on a few times and unable to change gear on the F1 system. All corrects its self after a few minutes
with the engine off. Was just requesting info. Is it due to high exhaust temps and would it be worth changing the thermocouples ? I don't push the car hard and this happens more when in slow traffic.

Thank's John for the link and will carry out a few more checks as aldousvoice suggests. Strange that I can't select gears on the F1 system when the red light is ON, maybe that's how Ferrari electronics gets you to slow down !

wow that is a worry what did you get for your 7k ? Did you take the car to main dealer or independent. I will check my FI fluid level !

Did you manage to sort at DK. I still have the gearbox light issue coming ON but only when the car is hot and you slow down in traffic
