Oh and if you really want to understand the case and how the prosecution f***ed up such an open and shut case I recommend you read the book by the late Vincent Bugliosi.
He was the prosecutor in the Charles Manson murders and he effectively tried the OJ murders as a cold case. It really is eye opening how a good lawyer who wasn't just out for publicity could have had this nailed to rights quickly.
Thanks for the recommendation, Sam. I'll have a butchers. He was the prosecutor in the Charles Manson murders and he effectively tried the OJ murders as a cold case. It really is eye opening how a good lawyer who wasn't just out for publicity could have had this nailed to rights quickly.

I had totally forgotten about this but after this thread I remembered Mr Bugliosi did a series of VHS videos re-litigating the entire trial. And a quick Youtube search reveals this. You may need to watch over a week or two, but well worth it. This man was a fantastic prosecutor and it is basically a case study in how to conduct a murder trial, OJ got very lucky he wasn't prosecuted by Mr B.
This does bring back memories of my time in California. The trial was an absolute obsession with everyone at the time.
