Just wondered whether anyone on here has got round to finalising a Portofino spec yet, and if so what are considered "must haves"? I am particularly interested on views re magnaride dual mode suspension and passanger display as together they add £6.5k to the cost.

I would have thought that the passenger display is not that relevant for a convertible cruiser (if it is in any model). I'd think the spec in terms of colours, nice seats etc is much more important.
I have no opinion on the suspension, but that might well be a must have

Is Apple Car Play standard yet on these?

From what I've read on the US forums they seem to think this and the reverse camera are essentials beyond the usual shields and wheels etc.

Stupid me but I don’t know how to edit the thread title. Apple Car Play not standard - it’s a £2k + option

Forget the passenger display, it’s a gimmick. I think the suspension would be worthwhile and parking aids essential.

I think there is only 1 seat option on the Portofino.

I am struggling to think of an option more frivolous and less essential TBH

Interested in this. Considering a Portofino as first Ferrari...no idea on speccing one. But it will be red👍

no German configurator - would have thought you can get daytona etc still in terms of seat style - sad if not

if red, then I would not go corsa. I think sth like Rosso Maranello (a darker/deeper clolour) or similar is more fitting for a Portofino (personally I would go blue with a crema or brown interior)

I think they will be offered in the future but not now.

Not portofino specific but usually it's

Wheels - though seem to be not great choices on this car
Seats - if the standard look bad
Shields
Calipers in red or yellow
Led steering wheel - never thought much of this but it's like the Porsche chrono
Carbon steering wheel - can be nice and in case of Cali and 458 standard alu trim looked cheap to me
Cameras - I liked the rear parking camera. Front camera didn't use much if ever
Magnaride - if not standard
Then there are loads of aesthetic options. I think options of 20-40k was the standard range with the Cali. Also been told in the past that low optioned cars get production slots slower

Exterior: Pozzi or Ferro with a Silverstone Opaco roof. Diamond cut wheels.

Nero Lucido calipers.

Avoid yellow calipers, I never spec them personally as they only serve to distract the eye to your wheels, which kinda defeats the object of the whole.

Enjoy.

agree on the bright coloured calipers - FF has red ones and not only does that clash with the shields (which I would not have specced if I had been the first owner), but also much too in your face for a supposedly elegant car - would much prefer silver or black, so much so I thought about getting them repainted ....

just be aware that if the new LED steering wheel is like the one on my 430, then it gets really annoying at night because it does not switch off in top gear .(what's the point in showing me how close I am to the rev limit if I can't change up anymore anyway)... so you constantly have red lights in your vision

not at max rpm, but light 1 comes on at 240 and light 2 at 270 - which gets really annoying as it is quite bright

I think the lights are configurable to be disabled completely within the menus

Spec comments ... mag ride essential for resale I was told and given British roads makes sense.
Seats .. Daytona is available as an option and looks good on the standard seat.
shields .. again essential .. was not convinced but very few cars without and it's not expensive so ticketed it anyway.
HiFi .. again important
Not a big choice and standard ones suit the car so

Apple Carplay is an option and expensive at that IMO.. think its £2.5 k . I have it on other cars which it came as standard and don't like it . Car has Sat Nav, phone with Bluetooth music so of no value to me.

Colours .. if you want red ... Portofino Red looks stunning

First deliveries i think have now started for customers
