There is a huge discussion on PH in the Porsche section about the impact that GPF is having on Porsche GT products. I haven’t seen anything in connection with GPF on Ferraris. I have a Portofino on order (delayed due to paint) and I am wondering if it will be delivered with a GPF and if so, will the power and/or noise be strangled compared to the original launch cars.

Any thoughts or knowledge?

A bit off thread but interested to note OP's Portofino delayed due paint as I am in the same position due to problems (which I do not fully understand) with Rosso Portofino paint. Surprised there has been no discussion re this on PH as there is a several page thread running on Ferrari Chat. OP - do you know how long a delay you are expecting as I am told somewhere about six months from original date, unless I change colour, and I'm seriously unhappy.
I am also waiting on Rosso Portofino. I ordered in May 2018 with a promise of Oct/Nov build/delivery. In about September I was told that it was delayed until April 2019 or I had to change paint colour. I decided to wait but still no confirmation of a delivery date. I expect April will just come and go with no car!
