My wife was suggesting we needed a new family car. I wanted a NA V12 before they're neutered by new regulations.

However the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera I'd had on loan didn't have enough rear seat space, and was turbocharged. And the AMR Rapide was just too dated, and a bit boring.

So I concluded there was only one car that really ticked all the boxes - the best 4 seat family car I could find. And with perhaps the best V12 engine around.

I bought a Ferrari GTC4 Lusso smile In my opinion the best 4 seat supercar you can buy today.

I collected the Lusso at the weekend and already did 400 miles just over the weekend.

Proper 4 seater, which is why I bought it as our family transport. Extremely luxurious interior for a supercar, and it rides more comfortably than my 720S, and is also quiet inside - until you increase throttle and revs... when it roars and then screams. biggrin

It has a lot of sound-proofing to the cabin, so is very quiet and docile at low RPM and throttle.

Sweet NA V12 engine, 4WD and 4 wheel steering, which makes it feel significantly smaller and more nimble to drive than its size would otherwise suggest.

Thanks guys smile

As someone else remarked, "it's the perfect family bus" biggrin

And yes, it is very daily usable as it's a very comfortable place to be. I do wish it had soft close doors though.

Any update on your thoughts of her, having owned her for a while now?
Yes, electrically less reliable than my 720S. More scuttle shake (less stiff). But more comfortable, and luxurious, and of course carries 4 in comfort.

Ferrari HQ customer service is slow and very poor indeed. Not at all impressed by Ferrari as a company. Dealer seems to have been ok, but delayed by warranty authorisations from HQ. This is pre-covid btw.

The car has spent more time at the dealer having an electrical issue (seat heating and ventilation) fixed than in my garage. So I only just got it back Thursday, in time for the covid lockdown frown

Thanks guys.

Hopefully once we are through the lockdown, I can get to enjoying the car again smile
