Morning all.

There have been a fair few threads over the years about the running costs of V12 Ferrari's. I though it may be useful to add a little of my own experiences in this regard.

I've got a GTC4 Lusso. I clonked the rear diffuser coming out of my driveway a few weeks ago (pics below). An easy fix I thought. New diffuser and off we go. Not so. It needs a whole new rear assembly, bodywork and all. I've just had the estimate back from the the bodyshop. £14k! That includes 49 hours of Labour at £6k! So there you go. I'll be claiming on my insurance, I'll keep you updated as to how that conversation goes.

I've market up the photos above to highlight the damage. The third image shows the area of the damage to the diffuser and the whole section of bodywork that needs replacing.

In reply to the comments.

Yes, I presume the V8T would require the same remedial work.

I certainly am glad that I won't be paying for it (I hope).

Well yes, it is a small piece of body work you can't see, but I paid £190k for the car and I'd like it pristine!
