There is a pretty large spread between prices for what look like similar cars. I went to look at the Joe Macari car this morning which looked in great condition.

Does condition and history give rise to the £13,000 spread in prices?

£67,997 - AT Performance - 44,000 - Orange
£69,990 - TOP GEAR Cars - 37,000 - Black
£69,993 - GP Cars - 39,000 - Black
£74,950 - DT Performance Cars - 26,000 - Yellow
£74,995 - Shaks Specialist Cars - 48,000 -Grey
£74,995 - The Super Car Rooms - 41,000 - White
£79,995 - Joe Macari - 33,000 - Black

but then if your spending £100k why not get a Mclaren Mc12 4c?

first world problems i know but budget creep isnt ideal and the extra 25k is a fair chunk.

i get the picture, i just cant justify going into a LP car for the extra money.

if you bought from a big name dealer would you still get a Pre purchase check?

Gallardos will go to £50k again in the next 24 months. thats my thinking.

im looking to buy one at the £75k level, ill hold it long term, but i dont expect it to be worth £75k ever again.

because its an asset bubble driven by credit. 2008 the lowest hit £40k ish. I think we will get back there in the recession that is coming.

nothing to do with supply, new models, etc

it was the global economic crash that hit the market. unless there is a similar crash, cant see the car market collapsing for no reason...

im buying one expecting it to fall in value, the flood to safe havens during market turmoil will be confined to blue chip cars, not mass produced modern lambos. With the way DB is going i expect the end of the world to happen sooner rather than later.

anyway, buy to drive and enjoy.
