... I still love it. I am so glad I got this over a McLaren, GT3 RS and a Ferrari. I love the way it looks when you stand at the front of it with its little stubby front end and the width thing (Its not that wide it just looks it when you stand head on). The way the back end slopes down in a slippery kind of way with the carbon fibre wing sticking out in a rather meaningful way. The noise it makes I will never tire of and it sounds soooo much better than ANY McLaren I have heard. It's also less common, well at least around where I live than it's competitors.

The way it drives is just brilliant, feels very analogue; I don't find the egear that bad at all, in fact I don't miss a manual box (I had one in the 911 turbo I sold for it) and the best bit is the down shifts, my god are they epic. The steering is quick and precise (mine is rwd) and the way it squirms when you floor it is just delightful. The way the car is laid out just means that left foot braking is a definite, no 2 ways about that it just kind of feels natural.

Build quality is clearly Audi, even the little computer thing in the middle of the dash. I never look at it though the MPG is just, well, scary. Still, it's good to know the outside temp. The carbon back buckets are just perfect for me and have me sat in that position that just eggs you on. Still can't get used to the window switches being back to front though. But I guess every lambo must have quirk. smile

In short, thank you Lamborghini for my #lifestylelambo car, It's way more fun than the sterile, tech laden McLaren and Ferrari.

I may or may not have just been out in it and had way more fun than I should I have smile And you know what I couldn't give a toss if a 458 or 12c/650s is quicker. It's about the experience the car delivers and the Gallardo delivers that in buckets loads.

Just to add, I've always regretted selling my Lotus Elise but now I have suitable replacement. This Gallardo really does feel like a faster Elise. Odd thing to say really but that's how I feel about it.
