Really tempted in to getting one of these beasts (moving from a 458) however Im not too sure if this is a ltd edition run model as there seem to be so many up for sale at the moment (around 50 in the UK). Can you still order one from the factory or are they sold out (coupe). I also can't figure out if all these cars on sale in the UK are being sold above list?

Wow if there are 127 in the UK it's alarming to see how many are up for sale (I have counted around 50-53 across various websites)! I think I will wait a little as these may well drop below £200k by the end of this year.

Good discussion here and glad I started this thread smile

I have been speaking to a couple of dealers via various friends and sources. Have managed to get £25k off a Coupe cancelled order and also been offered £20k off a few unregistered Spyders too!

I'm actually even more confused now as if these are the kinds of discount being offered Im not too sure how the residuals will behave after a year or so when the new model arrives.

Yes I know these cars are bought to be enjoyed, driven blah blah but at the end of the day I don't want to be taking a very wet bath on one!

If anyone thinks they’re going to buy a new super car of any brand and not take a bath they are kidding themselves especially in the current climate, be it Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maclaren or whatever. You will lose 50k in the first year if you want to sell back into the trade so if can’t stomach it don’t do it.
On a separate note I spoke to dealer today and he tells me the demand for the svj is very strong with a waiting list 40 deep. Also the convertible Perf is heavily sought and also the coupe. So while I believe you can get a discount on a car specced by someone else you won’t get a discount on your own choice.
I hear you and agree somewhat but the perf was commanding premiums of around £40k not so long ago so to think of taking a £50k bath seems a bit strange to me IMHO. Furthermore being offered £25k off list on a new car such as this one is also strange! Anyway I shall wait to get past winter and Brexit should bave also sorted itself out by then and who knows where prices will be :-)

I've just been to the dealer and ordered one. April delivery, one of the last slots.

Very happy.

There are definately discounts available on new orders too. In fact some cars that are available circa £15k of potentially are spec changeable if I jumped in quick enough.

If you can pm me the contact details where I might be able to do this, I'll have a go. If correct, I'll even "see you right" for your trouble.

I know I can get a seconhand one cheaper but I want a new one.

Thanks.
I will send you a private message.

As I mentioned earlier I can get in to a new one for £25-30k off list so I think £50k off list is not far away at all IMHO.

How is that even possible? You're basically telling me the dealer will eat up their profit to sell you a car. Stop peddling fake news but don't expect much from a Ferrari fanboy.
laugh Ferrari fanboy who started this thread wanting to become a HP fanboy? Someone earlier on this thread contacted me asking me for the deal to be forwarded on where I was offered this discount - I sent it to him and he got the deal so it's far from fake news!

I think the HP is a great car but there are just way to many of them on the market at the moment for them not to be offered at a discount and for that reason I am out (for now). If I do replace the 458 it will be with a HP but that will only be once prices have stabilised a bit.

If you think £35k is bad on a Lambo how about an Aston Martin DB11 at £65k off list?

I know someone who just did this and I have seen the invoice eek

Also know someone who claims to have bought a Bentayga at £70k off list! Madness.....
