Has anyone taken their Performante to Silverstone?

Thinking of taking mine to the PistonHeads Sunday Service next Weekend but I’d also like to take it on the track so if I’m going to get black flagged I’ll bring a different car.

At 102 drive by, will I be ok in Strada at least?

Awesome, thanks for that. I was beginning to think owners didn’t drive these cars in anger.

Thanks for all the replies, unfortunately the Performante was way too loud, even in Strada.
Drive by was +107db lap after lap.

Race control were very decent about it but even lifting off I could only get it down to 105ish - wasn't sure exactly where the sound meters were on the two straights.

Apparently in Corsa in the dry they can top 120db! Time for a trip to Spa...

haha did you go for a burn through the village a few times on Corsa ..... shame it sounded nice early on .
Think the Sensor is just at the Woodcote kink so you were still on it there and only lifted after .... hence the issue .

Regards
Wasn’t me in the village, I was in and out south on the A43.

Thanks for the heads up on the meters - will go on a noisy day and try and scope them out.

I got black flagged at Spa in the Performante. They were nice about it, presented me with my 'mugshot' and just asked me to lift off. I thought the DB meter was on the right hand side of the track on the straight so was going to the left, but the meter is actually on the left so was asked to lift and stick to the right
Thanks for that, good to know. How did you find the wear on the brakes? I hear the lack of brake cooling can lead to heavy pad wear?
